BLED – The thirteenth annual Bled Strategic Forum starts today in Slovenia. It will last for two days and gather more than 1000 guests from 60 countries in the world.

The main themes of the 24 panel discussions will be the ways of bridging divides between ideologies, politics and business, and generations, STA reports.

EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier will take part, as well as guests from a number of mostly Central and South-Eastern Europe, but also Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka.

Senior Slovenian politicians will also be present. The opening ceremony will be hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec, caretaker Prime Minister Miro Cerar and BSF Chair Peter Grk.
