Panel discussion on the CSOs in NATO and EU integrations in Skopje on Thursday

SKOPJE – Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” – Skopje, in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Foundation, is organizing a panel discussion fully titled „The Role of the Civil Society
in the NATO and EU Integration Processes“ on 20 September in Macedonia’s capital.

The event will be opened by Johannes D. Rey, Resident Representative of Konrad Adenauer Foundation and H.E. Thomas Gerberich, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Macedonia.

Taking part in the discussion will be Radmila Shekerinska
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia, alongside her German colleague Ursula von der Leyen.

The remaining two panellists will be Zoran Nechev, Project Coordinator and Senior Researcher at the Centre for EU Integration at the Institute for Democracy “Societas Civilis” and Emina Nuredinoska, Head of the Department for Civil Society at the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation.

The discussion will be held at Hotel Marriott Skopje (Ploshtad Makedonija 7), with working languages being German, Macedonian, Albanian and English. It will start at noon and will be followed by a reception.
