PRISTINA – Member of Parliament from “Serbian List” (SL) Saša Milosavljević stated yesterday that himself and his SL colleagues had decided not to leave their offices in the Kosovo Assembly in order to protest peacefully and initiate a meeting with EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who is visiting Pristina today.
“We are going to remain behind closed doors and want to protest in a peaceful and democratic way, without provocations. We have only one goal, which is to initiate a meeting with Commissioner Hahn, who is visiting Pristina tomorrow, we want to convey to him our great concern about 100% tariffs imposed on the goods from Serbia”, said Milosavljević on Sunday.
He added that SL members want to impress upon Hahn that everybody in Kosovo will experience problems because of the tariffs, RTK2 reports.
Serbian List president Goran Rakić stated yesterday, after an extraordinary session of a Crisis Committee in Kosovska Mitrovica, that SL MPs have entered the Assembly where they will wait for Commissioner Hahn in order to familiarize him with “anti-Serb moves which are leading to humanitarian catastrophe”.
