ALDE to host a discussion on the future of the Western Balkans

BRUSSELS – The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) is organising a discussion titled “Next ten year challenge for the Western Balkans” on Wednesday, 20 February.

This is the second time this month that ALDE group is hosting a discussion on the region, with the last week’s one focusing on Serbia and gathering opposition and civil society representatives from the country.

This time, the discussion will feature Valentin Inzko, High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Ćerimagić, Policy Analyst at the European Stability Initiative, Bernard Nikaj, Head of the Mission of the Republic of Kosovo to the EU and his counterpart from North Macedonia, Agneza Rusi Popovska.

The discussion will be moderated by ALDE MEPs Jasenko Selimović of Sweden and Jozo Radoš of Croatia, and will last for two hours, beginning at 11. It will be held in the Room 7 of the Altiero Spinelli Building in the European Parliament in Brussels.
