BRUSSELS – European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said that North Macedonia has gone from a state of crisis to a beacon of hope and stability of the entire region.
“You demonstrated that leadership, courage and determination obstacles of the past can be overcome for the sake of a bright future – Prespa agreement is an historic achievement”, Hahn pointed out at the EU-Republic of North Macedonia Stabilisation and Association Council press conference.
Hahn underlined that he is impressed by the determination and energy you have shown to advance EU reforms.
“Now reform efforts must continue especially in the areas of judiciary, fight against corruption and organised crime and public administration”, added Hahn.
