Zaev: Early election in April 2020

SKOPJE – Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev wrote on Twitter that the early parliamentary election will be held on 12 April 2020. This was agreed in the meeting of the country’s political leadership, including the leaders of the biggest opposition parties, three days after the European Council failed to open EU accession negotiations with North Macedonia. Zaev also tweeted that the unanimous decision of all leaders is that the Euro-Atlantic integrations remain the goal of the country.
