Zvizdić briefed Ambassador Wigemark on the process of answering the EC questionnaire

SARAJEVO – Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Dr Denis Zvizdić and his Deputies, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović and Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda talked with a delegation of the European Union, led by Head of delegation Lars Gunnar Wigemark, on realisation of obligations the BIH Institutions are required to implement for the European Union membership, states Council of Ministers press release.

Chairman Zvizdić and his Deputies briefed Ambassador Wigemark of the level of activities in realisation of answers from the EC questionnaire. They said the Council of Ministers of BIH considers the process as one of the highest priorities and that it is the next breakthrough on the European integrations road.

“All institutions which received questions have already started preparing the answers, so we expect to have their analysis and completed questionnaire by mid-February”, Chairman Zvizdić said at the meeting.

The other topic they discussed was the realisation of the activities to enable Bosnia and Herzegovina to become a part of regional investment projects, which imply the adoption of several relevant strategies. This would facilitate Bosnia and Herzegovina’s access to relevant funds, such as IPARD.

The meeting was attended by Director of the Directorate for European Integrations of BIH Edin Dilberović.
