Osmani: Plan for better use of IPA funds

SKOPJE – Macedonian Minister for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani had a meeting with Nicola Bertolini, the Head of Cooperation of the European Union Delegation to Macedonia, where they discussed about the realization of projects and better use of the IPA funds.

Osmani said that the government is preparing a plan for better absorption of the IPA funds.

“I have had a working meetings with the ministers, mayors and other representatives of institutions, in order to be directly informed about the challenges and obstacles of the realization of projects financed by IPA”, said Osmani.

For these reforms, Osmani stated that he expects support from both the EU delegation to Macedonia and the institutions responsible for IPA funds within the European Union.

The two interlocutors concluded that the utilization of IPA funds in Macedonia can be significantly improved.
