EU supports implementation of Albania’s national employment strategy

The Delegation of the European Union to Albania and the European Training Foundation jointly hosted a workshop in Tirana on Wednesday, bringing together stakeholders involved in the employment and skills sector. Albania’s efforts have been acknowledged by the EU, which is helping Albania implement the National Employment and Skills Strategy through a EUR 27 million support rewarding good performance and in implementing reform. “Albania needs to ensure that the strategy remains adequate to address the needs of the Albanian citizens,” Olga Anghelakis, Head of Economic Reform and Infrastructure from the EU Delegation to Albania, stated at the event.
