PRISTINA – Manfred Weber, leader of European People’s Party (EPP) in the European Parliament said on Wednesday that he expects a younger generation to lead Kosovo, after the meeting the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, Gazeta Express reported.

Leader of EPP pointed out that he cannot comment on relations between the Vetëvendosje and LDK who are negotiating on forming the new Government after early elections held in October.

“It is not for me to comment on relations between the Vetëvendosje and LDK, because this is a political issue concerning Kosovo. It is important for Kosovo to be led by a young generation,” Weber told.

Weber expressed regret that Kosovo citizens are deprived of visa free regime.

“We know that Kosovars are disappointed with the visas, we regret that unfortunately Kosovars still cannot enjoy visa-free regime. We are working on this direction,” Weber said, commenting on visa liberalisation.
