Brussels Will Not Comment on Kurz’s Visit and Maintains that Party Should Be Separate from State

meta_maliSKOPJE – The European Commission refused to comment about the participation of Austria’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sebastian Kurz at the VMRO-DPMNE rally and his meeting with his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki.

When asked by Macedonian news agency “Meta” how they would comment on the visit by a higher-ranking representative of an EU country member, from Brussels, said that they stand behind the statement that was given on the 18th of November by EU Ambassador Samuel Žbogar and the ambassadors of the EU  member countries in Macedonia regarding the upcoming elections.
