PRISTINA – The Kosovo Assembly adopted a resolution calling on suspending the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue on Thursday. The resolution is condemned by the EU officials. Here you can read what are the MPs of Kosovo calling for.The resolution is adopted regarding the detention of the former Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, in France.

MPs are calling for an unconditional release of the former Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj. This should be done as soon as possible, and the same should be considered as the primary state task, the resolution states.

“Suspend the dialogue on normalizing the relations between Kosovo and Serbia until the release of former Prime Minister, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj,” is the second resolution’s point.

“The Government of the Republic of Kosovo should demand from the EU to force Serbia to cancel all indictments and arrest warrants issued by Serbia through Interpol for the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo,” the resolution continues.

The final point of the resolution said that the Government and other institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are obliged to undertake all necessary actions in order to inform all international bodies that “… reject the universal jurisdiction of Serbia for crimes allegedly committed in the territory of former Yugoslavia “, and according to this to demand the release of the former Kosovo.
