BELGRADE – Serbian PM Aleksandar Vučić on Tuesday met with Italian FM Angelino Alfano to discuss bilateral relations, the situation in the region and continuation of the dialogue with Pristina, Tanjug reports.
“We are trying to keep the situation in Serbia stable to ensure the region is stable, too,” Vučić said in a comment on the current situation in the region.

Thanking Italy for supporting Serbia’s EU path, Vučić said he had great expectations from the Trieste meeting of Western Balkan and EU leaders.

“The Berlin Process represents a great hope for the region and we want to see more concrete results in infrastructure programmes,” a statement from the government press office quoted Vučić as saying.

Alfano said he was respectful of the bilateral relations and the reform processes carried out by the Serbian government.
