TRIESTE – Serbian PM Ana Brnabić met with EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn at the Berlin Process Summit in Trieste on Wednesday, highlighting Serbia’s commitment to European integration.

Hahn backed Serbia’s efforts to join the EU.

They agreed it was important for Western Balkan countries to work together on regional connectivity, strengthening of economic ties and regional stability and noted that the Trieste summit was the right opportunity for this.

The meeting was also attended by Serbia’s EU Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimović.

Brnabic also met with EU Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc earlier in the day to discuss the Transport Community Treaty – due to be signed in Trieste – and Serbia’s digital agenda.
