The US Vice President Mike Pence will visit Montenegro on 2 August.
Pence is the highest-ranking US Official to visit Montenegro in more than a hundred years. At the same time, it will also be the first visit to the region by the highest representative of President Donald Trump’s administration and his closest associate.
US Vice President Mike Pence will attend the Adriatic Charter Summit (a meeting of the leaders of the US-Adriatic Charter member countries), hosted by Montenegro’s PM Duško Marković.
Leaders of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia are also expected to attend the Summit, as well as the leaders from the countries with observer status – Serbia, Kosovo and Slovenia.
