MARRAKESH – Despite the political, economic and social challenges it is facing, the Western Balkan region must commit to building good relations, stability and progress, Serbian and Albanian PMs Ana Brnabić and Edi Rama concluded at a conference in Morocco.

“Serbia is strongly committed to regional cooperation and to forging economic ties as the economy is the key driver of all integrative processes and further development of all countries in the region,” Brnabić said at the first plenary session of the World Policy Conference (WPC) in Marrakesh, which ends on November 5.

The two PMs spoke with WPC President and co-founder Thierry de Montbrial about global politics and the challenges facing the Western Balkans and southeastern Europe, as well as about the common EU future, the Serbian government press office said in a statement.
