Osmani: Macedonia to support Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations

SKOPJE – Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani and the Kosovan Minister for European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, during today’s meeting in Skopje, have stressed the efforts of both countries for the region’s European perspective including the both countries’ cooperation towards this direction.

“Macedonia and Kosovo have the same goal – EU accession. I believe we can support you in the EU integration process with a continuous, open and constructive dialogue,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Osmani said that Macedonia is ready to help Kosovo in the Eurointegration processes, by sharing its experiences and knowledge during the integration of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement. He stressed that Kosovo will receive Macedonia’s complete support for its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

Both ministers have repeated and greeted the initiative for having a joint session of both countries’ governments, within the framework of established institutional mechanisms with the signed Agreement for cooperation in the domain of European integration. They have also discussed the joint projects as part of the Berlin process, including the possible establishment of a joint customs services.
