SARAJEVO – The Delegation of the EU to Bosnia and Herzegovina called for calming down political rhetoric caused by the statement of the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović on Kosovo and the reactions of Belgrade’s official to that statement, reports N1, writes BETA.

“We are familiar with the statements of the BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović on Kosovo and the reactions of Serbia in this regard. In the meantime, clarifications have been made,” EU Delegation spokeswoman Jamila Milović Halilović told the Serbian News Agency (SRNA).

She stated in a written statement that it is clear that the BiH Presidency, as a collective body, leads BiH’s foreign policy on the basis of consensus.

“It’s time to concentrate on genuine work on the road to the European Union, for which the whole region is defined,” said the spokeswoman of the EU Delegation, reports N1.
