Second High-level Panel on Environment and Climate Action in the Western Balkans

BONN – The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Serbia are hosting a high-level panel on addressing regional climate and environmental challenges in Western Balkans (WB), on 17 November in Bonn, Germany.

Environmental ministers and high-level panellists will tackle upon national and regional priorities, policy responses to current and future challenges, importance of regional cooperation and future activities until 2020.

The meeting is to discuss the implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement, contributions of WB economies within the environment agenda, how the region can properly respond and adapt to inevitable climate changes, as well as the future steps and joining forces in protecting the environment.
