BRUSSELS – EU Commissioner for Migration and Home Affairs, Dimitris Avramopoulos, will tomorrow meet with six Western Balkans Ministers of internal affairs.
Minister Nebojša Strefanović will represent Srbija, Tanjug learns in Brussels.
“The participants will discuss the latest developments in the field of migration and cooperation in border management, migration and security, as well as priorities from the framework of the Western Balkans Strategy,” European Comission Chief Spokesperson Margaritis Schinas said.
Besides the ministers of the Western Balkans and Commissioner Avramopoulos, representatives of the Bulgarian and future Austrian presidency of the EU, as well as the European Commissioner for the Security Union, Julian King and the executive director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency Fabrice Leggeri will also attend the meeting.
The European Commission announced that this meeting is a way of preparation for the October meeting of EU and Western Balkan ministers.
