Haradinaj to Mogherini: Dialogue was derailed long before tariffs were introduced

PRISTINA – Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj commented on recent statement of EU High Representative Federica Mogherini regarding the taxes and continuation of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. As Haradinaj pointed out dialogue was derailed long before tariffs were introduced, adding that lack of transparency, encouraging land swap proposal and failure to implement existing agreements are the reasons. “Dialogue can and should resume without relating it to tariffs”, said Prime Minister. Federica Mogherini said in New York that Kosovo has to abolish tariffs so Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could be continued.
