Projected results: Pendarovski elected as new President of North Macedonia

SKOPJE – According to the projected results announced by North Macedonian CSO Most, ruling coalition’s candidate Stevo Pendarovski is set to win 51% of votes in the second round of presidential elections.

His rival Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, nominated by VRMO-DPMNE party, is set to win around 45% of the vote, while 4% of the citizens cast an invalid vote.

The projected turnout is 46%, clearing the 40% threshold. These projections are in accordance with the country’s State election commission, which has so far counted 90% of the votes.
