BRUSSELS – At a meeting with EU Delegations to partner countries in Brussels yesterday, European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn thanked them for the work they have done over his tenure.

Hahn will carry on as a Commissioner from Austria, but has announced that he will be relinquishing his current portfolio.

“Really enjoyed the get together at the Berlaymont [EC Office] with the Heads of EU Delegations of our partner countries. Big thank you, dear EU Ambassadors for your great work and dedication to push the EU agenda in challenging times! We stay in touch!”, tweeted Hahn.

Head of EU Delegation to Serbia Sem Fabrizi thanked Hahn on Twitter, pledging to remain in touch as well.
