Conference: Addressing the Challenges of Social Democracy in the Western Balkans

The Democratic Party and the Party of European Socialists are organizing the conference “Addressing the Challenges of Social Democracy in the Western Balkans” on Saturday, 7 November 2015. Participants of the conference are democratic and social democratic parties from the region and the Western Balkans and they will discuss issues like refugees and prospects for European integration.

Among the participants are Sergei Stanishev, PES President, Knut Fleckenstein, Vice President of S&D in European Parliament, Bojan Pajtić, President of the Democratic Party (Serbia), Radmila Šekerinska, Vice President of SDSM (Macedonia), Ranko Krivokapić, President of SDP (Montenegro), Dejan Jović, professor at University of Zagreb, and the others. The participants will discuss on two session, the first Through dialogue to solidarity, and the second Progressive path towards regional cooperation and EU integration.


The conference will be held in the hotel “Metropol Palace”, Belgrade, starting at 9 am.
