SARAJEVO – Commenting on Tuesday’s session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Head of EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH gave a statement.

He welcomed Tuesday’s holding of the session of the Council of Ministers of BiH. “I am encouraged  by the fact that they were able to meet, putting aside their differences for the benefit of the citizens they serve, regardless of current challenges,” Wigemark added.

He pointed out that the country’s citizens expect more jobs, enhanced economic opportunities and a better future for them and their children, and added that this requires a high level of political responsibility, as shown Tuesday.

“We hope that all political actors will work in the spirit of cooperation and dialogue, in order to ensure that institutions in BiH work efficiently and responsibly in the interest of citizens and their future in the EU,” EU Ambassador concludes.
