Mogherini met with leaders of political parties in BiH

SARAJEVO – At the end of the visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini met with the leaders of political parties to discuss the way forward on the country’s path towards European Union, EEAS stated.

The EU as well as the political leaders confirmed the full commitment to the country’s reform agenda and the strategic importance of its path towards the European Union. The leaders also confirmed they will continue to work together on preparing the answers to the questionnaire of the European Commission, through dialogue and consensus. Moreover, they confirmed their readiness to make the coordination mechanism work.

The focus of the discussion was the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a stable, democratic and multiethnic country.
