SKOPJE – Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev met Friday with Gorazd Bartol, the Chief of the NATO Liaison Office in Macedonia. Bartol told Zaev that the direction in which Macedonia is moving is good and opens up perspectives for the citizens and Euro-Atlantic aspirations for the country, Meta reports.

“You have stimulated positive energy in the country which can be felt, and Brussels can feel it too, through the democratic policies of the new government of inclusiveness and building bridges between citizens in the country, good neighbourly relations in the region and open international cooperation. The direction in which Macedonia is moving is good and opens up the prospects for the citizens and Euro-Atlantic aspirations for the country”, Bartol told Zaev, stated the prime minister’s office.

Bartol expressed the openness of the NATO Liaison Office in Macedonia for assistance and support in all steps the Government makes towards NATO membership.
