TRIESTE – Fiscal and political stability, the main tasks of our government, are impossible without regional development and regional stability, and that is why it is important that we will discuss this today, Serbian PM Ana Brnabić said in Trieste on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the Western Balkans Six Summit, Brnabić said Serbia had done much over the past three years to achieve fiscal and political stability.

“We cannot have quicker economic development without full regional stability and that is what we will talk about here today and try to work on in the months to come,” Brnabić said.

Speaking about meetings she had earlier in the day with European Investment Bank and World Bank officials, European Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc and Macedonian PM Zoran Zaev, Brnabić said the conversations had been “fantastic”.
