BRUSSELS – All steps towards integration of Kosovo Serb judicial staff into Kosovo’s judicial system have been taken and the agreement on the judiciary, reached in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, is expected to take effect on Tuesday, European Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijančič said on Monday.

Both sides have fulfilled their obligations, Kocijančič told Tanjug.

As agreed between the presidents of Serbia and Kosovo on August 31 as part of the EU-facilitated dialogue, we expect the agreement on the judiciary to take effect tomorrow, Kocijančič said.

Kocijančič was responding to media reports the October 17 implementation of the Belgrade-Pristina deal would most likely be postponed once again due to failure to execute tasks stemming therefrom.
