SDSM will lead 56 municipalities including Skopje

SKOPJE – According to the results in both rounds of the local elections, SDSM will lead 56 municipalities including Skopje, VMRO-DPMNE 5, DUI 10, the Alliance of the Albanians in 3, BESA, DPA and DPT will each manage one, and candidates nominated by a group of voters in 3 municipalities.

In the first round of the elections that were organized on the 15th of October, SDSM, apart from Skopje, won in 37 municipalities, and in the second round, it won in another 19 municipalities.

In the first round, VMRO-DPMNE, won in Ilinden, Petrovec and Sopishte, and n the second round it won in the municipalities of Zrnovci and Kavadarci.

In the first round of the elections, DUI has won mayoral seats in Kichevo and PLasnica, and in the second round, it won in the municipalities of Chair, Tetovo, Saraj, Debar, Dolneni, Lipkovo, Tearce and Struga.

The Alliance of the Albanian has won 3 mayoral seats, all in the second round, and it will manage the municipalities of Bogovinje, Vrapchishte, and Gostivar.

Besa has won in Želino, DPA in Studenicani, the Democratic party of the Turks has won a seat in Centar Župa, and the candidates that were nominated by a group of voters will manage with Rankovce, Chucher Sandevo and Brvenica.
