SKOPJE – EU Commissioner for Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn stated today in an interview for Macedonian news agency MIA that the goal of EU should be that Serbia and Kosovo reach an agreement by the middle of next year.
According to Beta news agency, Hahn supported this goal in order to prevent “starting the process all over again” when the new Commission with the new High Representative is formed.
He stated he is for an open approach in negotiations, but that the solution should not be harmful to others.
“Every bilateral solution should contribute to stability and prosperity, and be maintainable”, he said.
