Bulgaria to become the first country to sign the Protocol for Macedonia’s NATO accession

SKOPJE – Bulgarian Government has given the green light for the signing of the Protocol for Macedonia’s accession to NATO. Government in Sofia stated today that it had authorised its representative at the Permanent delegation of Bulgaria to NATO to sign the document, MIA reported. Bulgaria was also the first country to recognise Macedonia as a sovereign country in 1992.
