Hahn: The case of David Dragičević has to be resolved without any further delay

BRUSSELS – European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn suggested members of Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina to resolve the murder of 21-old David Dragičević without any further delays.

Hahn suggested Milorad Dodik, Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović at their recent meeting in Brussels to resolve the case without any delay, according to all internatioanl standards, Radio Sarajevo reported.

“Respecting rule of law, human rights and freedom is the prerequisite for every country which has an ambition to become part of EU. The Commission will pay attention to these problems when it comes to membership of Bosna and Herzegovina into EU”, said Radio Sarajevo.

Hahn’s cabinet announced that they will continue to follow the situation especially the investigation as well as the results of the work of the judiciary.

David Dragičević dissapeared on 18th of March last year. His body was found six days later, at the mouth of Crkvena into the Vrbas at the fortress of Kastel.

 

According to the family Dragičević the murder of David was planned, adding that he was kidnapped and murderd by the police officers of Republika Srpska.

Parents of David decided to exhume the body which is Banja Luka and move it to the place near Vienna where David’s Mum Suzana Radanović lives.

Davor Dragičević, father of murdered young man, argued he will not allow that the body of his son stays in, how he called it, a “criminal state”.
