Statement of the EU Heads of Missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the attack in Zvornik

“The European Union and its Member States condemn the callous and criminal attack against a police station in Zvornik yesterday evening. This is an attack against all institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina working to protect and secure the interests of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Our condolences go to the bereaved family. We send wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.

We trust that a full and thorough investigation will follow to determine the nature and motive of this terrible incident.

The European Union and its Member States call on all in position of authority and leadership at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina to cooperate closely to prevent any further such incidents for the common good of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
