BRUSSELS – High EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini announced on Wednesday that the high-level political conference concerning the refugee issue in the Western Balkans would be held on October 8.
The conference will take place in Luxembourg, and the topics will cover crisis management and migrant reception, Mogherini told reporters after the session of the European Commission College of Commissioners in Brussels.
The conference will gather ministers of foreign and interior affairs from EU member countries, Western Balkans and Turkey.
This is a joint crisis and we need to solve it together, Mogherini stated.
