Lunacek: Shocked by violent behavior of Self-Determination

Ulrike Lunacek

VIENNA – Vice President of the European Parliament (EP) Ulrike Lunacek condemned Thursday’s protest of the members of Self-Determination in the Kosovo parliament which escalated with the dropping of tear gas, and said that this attack downgrades Pristina’s EU outlook.
I am shocked by this violent behavior and I strongly condemn this attack which is far from any kind of parliamentary debate, she stated.

The EP’s rapporteur emphasized that this irresponsible attack negatively affects Kosovo’s progress and its EU path, and noted that it has brought harm to Kosovo’s very image.
