STRASBOURG – A new resolution on Kosovo was coordinated in the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) meeting in Strasbourg on Thursday and will be voted on by the EP Foreign Affairs Committee on January 28.
The Foreign Affairs Committee debated amendments by MEPs to a draft resolution tabled by the EP standing rapporteur on Kosovo, and EP Vice-President, Urlike Lunacek in December 2015.
AFET will vote on the compromised resolution in Brussels next Thursday. It should be passed at the EP’s 3 February plenary meeting in Strasbourg.
