Fleckenstein in Albania: Tough agenda and serious talks

ata_maliTIRANA – German Member of European Parliament (MEP) and EP’s standing Rapporteur on Albania, Knut Fleckenstein, kicks off a three-day visit to Tirana, Albania on Tuesday.
MEP Fleckenstein wrote on social media that the agenda is tough and the talks are serious, Albanian news agency ATA reports.

Meanwhile it is made known that MEP Fleckenstein will meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama at 10:45 am, Speaker of Parliament Ilir Meta at 11:45 am and will hold a meeting with European Integration Minister, Klajda Gjosha, at 15:45.

In the run-up to his visit to Tirana during an interview with Deutsche Welle radio, the German MEP underlined that June elections are the key for opening accession negotiations.
