Head of EU Monitoring Mission Peterle visits Thaçi

PRISTINA – Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi received today the head of the EU Election Monitoring Mission in Kosovo, Alojz Peterle, with whom he discussed preparations for local elections at Kosovo on Sunday, RTK2 reports.

It is alleged that Peterle said that EU monitors distributed throughout Kosovo to monitor local elections on Sunday .

Thaçi thanked EU for its readiness to monitor local elections and stated that “Kosovo has now proven to be able to organize free, fair and democratic elections, which are accepted by all political parties, as well as from international community.”

“This tradition we will prove again on Sunday,” Thaçi claims.
