The Democratic Opposition in Venezuela has won the European Parliament’s Sakharov Prize for Human Rights. This prize was given in a support of the movement against Socialist President Nicolas Maduro and it is award for Venezuelan assembly, dominated by opposition parties, but also by political prisoners, sources from the EP told to French agency.
