Western Balkans at a New Geopolitical Crossroads: Between Internal Problems and European Integrations

BELGRADE – Is European Union ready for new enlargement? Open bilateral questions and entry of Western Balkan states into the EU, EU-Western Balkans Summit in Sofia: Hopes and expectations, will be the main topics of the conference “Western Balkans at a New Geopolitical Crossroads: Between Internal Problems and European Integrations”, organised by the Center for Foreign Policy and Hanns Seidel Foundation.

Some of the key speakers of the conference will be Tanja Miščević, Head of the Negotiating Team for Accession of Serbia to the EU, Dubravka Negre, Head of the Regional Office for the Western Balkans, EIB, Nenad Čanak, Chairman of the European Integration Committee in the Parliament of Serbia, Zoltán Pogátsa, Political economist and lecturer at the University of West Hungary, Dejan Jović, Professor of the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, Mihailo Crnobrnja, President of the European Movement in Serbia, Damjan Jović, Deputy Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the  Government of Serbia, Noora Hayrinen, Head of Political and Information Section of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Nikola Šaranović, Dircetor of the Directiorate for International Judical Cooperation and projects of Montenegro and many others.

The event will be held at Hotel Falkensteiner in Belgrade, on Wednesday, 16 May.
