PRISTINA/BELGRADE – President of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi posted a letter he had received from US President Donald Trump on his social network accounts yesterday.
The similar letter has been received by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, his media adviser said.
In the letter, Trump welcomed the reconciliation efforts between Kosovo and Serbia and stressed that “the failure to capitalize on this opportunity would be a tragic setback”. He also urged Kosovo leaders to speak with a unified voice.
“I look forward to hosting you and President Vučić at the White House to celebrate what would be an historic accord”, concluded Trump in his letter to Thaçi.
