Western Balkan Digital Summit opened in Belgrade

Belgrade – Western Balkan Digital Summit was opened today in Belgrade. The beginning of the Summit was marked by robot Titan which danced on the worldwide song “Gangnam Style”.

Prime Minister of Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabić addressed at the opening. European Commissioner for digital economy and society Marya Gabriel was the first speaker followed by General secretary of International telecommunication union Houlin Zhao.

Western Balkan Digital Summit is taking place in Belgrade on the 4 and 5 April, 2019. The Summit will bring together representatives from governments, businesses, regional organizations, CSOs, academia and youth with the goal to set up a digital platform for exchanging of ideas and proposals. Four platforms will be covered: digital skills, networks and connectivity, trust and security and digital economy and society. There will be 200 speakers, around 80 digital companies and 30 economies. Panel discussions will be held on tree stages.
