BERLIN – Berlin Summit was positive, remarks chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group Johann Wadephul, emphasizing that it is very important that both sides (Belgrade and Pristina) talk and “not to cross with un unnecessary disputes over territory”.
“Summit was very successful. I was very delighted by the fact that so many leaders from the region came to talk with Chancellor Angela Merkel and President Emmanuel Macron”, said Wadephul.
According to him, it is very important that Belgrade and Pristina talk and their talks should focus on resolving concrete questions such as cultural heritage, minority protection and connecting multiplicities.
“It was a very important Paris – Berlin initiative because the talks can continue”, Wadephul concluded.
