TANJUG_maliBELGRADE – The current “bad moment” in the relations with Croatia cannot upset Serbia’s EU accession process, Serbia’s chief EU negotiator Tanja Miščević said on Tuesday, Tanjug news agency reports.
Belgrade’s position is that we are always ready for cooperation as Croatia is a member state from which we expect great assistance and support“, Miščević told a seminar on media, EU accession talks and IPA funds.

The upcoming Serbian presidential elections will not slow the process down, Miščević said, noting that the action plans for Chapters 23 and 24 had been negotiated at the time of the last parliamentary elections.

The action plan for Chapter 7 on intellectual property is also under preparation, Miščević said.

Serbia cannot count on joining the EU before 2021 as the EU budget has no expenditures planned for us before that date, Miščević pointed out.
