BRUSSELS – European Parliament will not be able to vote on the new European Commission on 23 October as previously planned, due to rejection of three Commissioners, among them Hungarian nominee for Enlargement Laszlo Trocsanyi, RTS reports. The next opportunity for such vote will be on 27 November, when the next session of the European Parliament is scheduled. This means that the tenure of the Commission of Jean-Claude Juncker will be extended for at least a month. Hungary has released the name of the new nominee, while Romania and France are yet to confirm their new choices.
