16 soldiers to join EU peace mission

cdm logoPODGORICA – The Parliament of Montenegro passed a Decision to send 16 Montenegrin soldiers to EU’s peace mission „EU NAVFOR – ATALANTA“, with a possibility to rotate.

The soldiers will be employed in positions staff officer in command of the operation, general duty on warships and members of an independent team to protect the ship.

„Army of Montenegro will benefit by improving skills of individual soldiers in maritime circumstances. It will enable development of collective interoperability, new knowledge and lessons to be shared”, the statement reads.
