Nishani: Some political figures in Macedonia encourage artificial divisions and inter-ethnic hatred

meta_maliSKOPJE – The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, in an interview with television channel ABC, spoke about the latest developments in Macedonia, where he said that Albania did not interfere in the internal politics of any country, including Macedonia, Meta repots.

He added that Albania is charged with the constitutional responsibility to support and be interested in respecting the rights and freedoms of Albanians wherever they live.

He further added that the declarations made by President Ivanov have hurt Macedonia and its Euro Atlantic perspective.

“Unfortunately, recent statements by some political figures in Macedonia encourage artificial divisions and inter ethnic hatred, which is primarily very damaging to Macedonia itself, and is harmful to all citizens of Macedonia and is damaging to Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic perspective”, said Nishani.

In relation to the platform of Albanians in Macedonia, Nishani said that Albania supports the platform because it will ensure the implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, which so far, has not been implemented as it should have been.
