TIRANA – Minister of Defence Mimi Kodheli on Tuesday met with the Defence Minister of Montenegro Predrag Boškovic, who is on a visit to Tirana, ATA reports.
During the meeting, Defence Minister Kodheli said that Boškovic’s visit to Albania is an excellent opportunity to reconfirm that Montenegro will soon become a full-fledged member of NATO.
Defence chief described Montenegro’s ethnic Albanians as an eternal bridge of friendship between the two countries. She emphasized that future of both Albania and Montenegro lie with the European Union and NATO.
On his part, Montenegrin Defence Minister Predrag Boškovic appreciated his Albanian counterpart for the visit and for Albania’s strong support for Montenegro’s bid to join NATO.
