SKOPJE – The Foreign Ministers of Macedonia and Greece, Nikola Dimitrov and Nikos Kotzias, will meet in Sofia on 15 and 16 February, on the sidelines of the informal meeting of the heads of diplomats of the EU countries and candidate countries for membership, announced the Independent Balkan News agency IBNA.
Dimitrov and Koztias expect to discuss the next steps in the process of resolving the name dispute between the two countries.
Yesterday, Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev announced that a new meeting will be held next week between the heads of diplomats of Macedonia and Greece, Dimitrov and Kotzias, and with the UN mediator Matthew Nimetz.
Zaev announced that the meetings between the negotiating teams will continue intensively in the upcoming period, because, he says, time is short and we need to act promptly.
